I?m a male Shepherd/Retriever mix, and the staff thinks I?m around 2 to 3 years old. I came to the SPCA after I was picked up as a stray. In fact, I actually got loose right in front of the SPCA . . . What luck, right?! So what can I tell you about myself? Well, I was staying at a foster home for about a month, and my foster mom, who is a dog behaviorist, says that I?m housebroken and get along with most other dogs except males; I want to be the only four-legged man of the house! I walk on a leash really well, and I love toys - especially squeakies. I also love to run and exercise. Yep, I am going to need an active family or human to live with, and it would be awesome if you had a nice, big fenced-in yard for me, too. My foster mom says I really enjoy making friends, but I do better with a slow, leisurely introduction. I like kids, too, but they probably need to be a little older since I?m such a big, boisterous guy (a real puppy at heart). If you?re ready to meet a fun, playful guy, please come down and visit me!
